Day 19

Andes, NY: We had breakfast at the diner across the street from our Airbnb, hit up the local coffee shop, and then wandered through the town bookstore which had an extremely largest selection of books about mushrooms. We spent the afternoon visiting West Kill Brewing and then stopped in at Wayside (again) to get the smoked trout plate for dinner.

Day 18

350 miles today through PA and NY to Andes, NY. We’re staying in a very cute apartment in the middle of Andes for the next few days. After unloading and getting settled we walked down the street to Wayside Cider for dinner.

Cute AirBnB kitchen!
Very comfortable mattress and bed linens. We slept extremely well, except for the night we discovered we’re next to the volunteer fire station and the bell rang to call the fire-people at 2:30am.
